What is franchising?

A franchise is a system of marketing products and / or services on the basis of an exclusive agreement under which a successful business in a specific area of a business transferred to another independent entrepreneur all his knowledge and experiences on the original business , including the use of trademarks and distinctive symbols.

There are at least two levels of individuals in the system of franchising:
1. The franchisor, who lends his trademark or trade name and transmits its know-how (trade secrets) to the franchisee.
2. Franchisee, who developed a business using the franchisor's name and system.
